Ok the info, 86 tpi new plugs wires ditributor cap rotor maf. i start my car today and it takes a bit longer then fires up. right away the whole cab is shaking like a real bad miss. i accelerate and the miss is constant and the car has very little power, feels like a tractor runs even worse. now i know someones going to tell me to go to helmnic, been there and the manual is on its way, but i need help suggestions now.

one, or more, of your ignition wires most likely are not installed correctly....either the boot is not seated on a plug, or a wire itself isn't on the correct plug sequence.

But did it run ok after you installed all the new parts, or is this the first start up with the new parts? If it is the first start up, definitely go over the firing order and the wire connections at the cap and plugs.

its had all of these part on for at least two months, been running great and all the sudden it goes to tractor mode. it feels like it might be multiple cylinders and its not throwing any codes. last code i got a month ago which was the knock sensor stayed on for about 20 seconds and never came back.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 is the firing order (clockwise from no 1 plug terminal on cap)

Anything blocking the air intake? Any loose spark plugs? Burned plug wires? Just some things to check...

this almost sounds like it thrown in "limp home" mode....

is this happening when you're parked, or only while underway?
if while underway, it very well could be your VSS (vehicle speed sensor)....check for codes....faulty VSS circuit is code 24.....usually it just a case that the connector isn't tight.

It sounds like not all cylinders are firing. I would definitely pull the plugs to see if any are carbon fouled or wet with fuel. This will at least lead you to cylinder(s) that might have a problem.

I love looking through the forums and don't post all that much, but thought this might help. As simple as this sounds, have you checked your battery? These cars require a healthy spark, and if your battery is weak, or your cables aren't clean/tight, your vehicle can exhibit the exact problems you describe.

Might want to check for fuel in vacuum line to fuel reg (ruptured diaphram).
Just another thought

Maybe you should be checking the injectors-"gas smell", could be a bad injector(s) flooding the engine. And since it takes a little longer to start, that's where I'd start.
