!@#$@#$ Water pump is leaking
I have it wired in on the pump side of the connector so if the connector would manage to pop free, it'll set off one of the LEDs
I had a weatherpack connector issue while sitting on the grid at the track. Fortunately I watch the analog gauge and glanced down to see it heading towards 260*. The digital gauge read about 180* at the time. The analog gauge isn't the greatest since Chevy didn't bother with decent markings much less make it linear, but it's definitely good enough to see a trend. I've since added the warning circuit.
Hmmm--what issue did you have with the weatherpack? Where did they go in your circuit diagram exactly anyway? You mentioned before to me that one is "between the pump and its circuit" and the other is for the warning. Is the weather pack a "T" connector that goes right to the Epump--and you don't use the wires+fuse supplied by Mez?
I still have to buy the Barry Grant Relay. Local shop does have it but I've been distracted/delayed by what to do about the shortblock.
I don't know your mileage, but my WP went just after we moved up here last year. I had mine replaced at Race-Street-Rally, but I ordered the pump beforehand from Chris May at Superior Chevy. I think to my door, it was somewhere just over $160.

One weather pack replaces the Meziere push type connector. The original Meziere connectors were basic white plastic and just asking for trouble. I think the new pumps come with a weatherpack, the old ones like I have didn't. I simply cut the original conector off and installed the weatherpack.
Regarding the fuse...same thing. I tossed the Meziere fuse and wired in a weathertight fuse holder.
On the diagram, if you look where the two wires connect to the Meziere wiring just imagine those two wires going into the weatherpack connector.

...what I received from Mez was a 2 prong, black FEMALE connector wired to the pump and the MALE end, 2 prong, provided with fuse& fuse holder, and 2 feet of wire, black&blue.
So one weather pack is what you replaced this with--except Mez hardware was cheap white plastic. This looks first rate to me, plug it together and it doesn't want to come apart. But what do I know?
I thought "weather pack" implied that it would resist corrosion so that I could still drive this car in rain. I might even use as a daily driver.
Have you used yours in rain? I know I get rainy days for HPDEs sometimes.
