WOW I can't believe some of these responses-someone asked about an engine additive the other day-restore or something like that-I
initially would have said snake oil! but low and behold-some reported it actually helped-and someone that has actually tried the Tornado said their mileage actually increased by what-1 mpg.I actually believe
it couldhelp a carbureted engine-I have no idea about a fuel
injected engine-but hey, try it-report back your honest results and if
it does prove to be beneficial-there could be alot of people here eating
crow-I after all never would have tried seafoam had not one of my friends and dad talked me into it.I just don't see the point in flaming someone for asking a question! I suppose the Wright brothers asked many a question.
That,s rich now we are going to use the lines of force in a magnet to do what, slow down the gas flow, the valves ... hhmmm .........what happens to the alternator
This is the best Thanks for the laugh

It seems every few years something like this pops up... Even providing it did increase gas-mileage a little, it will become an obstruction at higher RPMs, killing HP.
We put one in our Taurus. While "Seat of the pants" performance gains were not really apparent, our in town average MPG jumped from 21.7 to 25.3 and our highway average went from 31.2 to 34.5. I'm sold on MPG gains, but as far as "noticeable" performance/HP gains, I'm somewhat dubious. I've been kicking around the idea of putting one on my Vette, but I just don't drive it enough to justify the cost of one right now.
I bought one of these several years ago and put it in a 92 Bonneville I had with the 3.8 V6. It did improve my gas mileage 1 to 2 mpg and the car did seem to have more pick up on rapid acceleration. Would I put one on my 92 LT1, probably not.
Has anyone tried the Tornado air intake insert? It claims 10 to 20% fuel improvement and more power. I bought one from my NAPA dealer here in Canada and he said that NAPA were installing them on all of their delivery trucks. They expect to save several million dollars annually across Canada.
I put one in my Nissan Murano only last week so I don't have any results yet.
That stuff is just like the diet pills that are advertised on TV in the early morning hours. Junk, junk and more junk. If that tornado is so good, why doesn't the new car manufacturer's have installed on the production line?
How in the world can something like that save fuel? You are still going to have the same amount of fuel coming from the fuel pump. What is going to limit that flow?
Years ago, someone came up with an idea of "Cow Magnets". You would have to mount these magnets to the fuel line to the carb. Then they would suspend the fuel in the line. Another bunch of BS.
I do not know why the FCC lets these bimbo's promote this stuff on TV.
Save your money, buy some polish, it will get you further.
I have one in my 1996 LT4 Corvette! 1 have checked it 10 different times it does make a slight difference not much but a difference
Ever seen the infomercial on the Tornado? They show some old guy pimpin it in a hawaiian shirt. He has a white C4 corvette and their are bikini clad girls hanging all over him. He goes on to say how he doesnt know much about cars, but sure knows a lot about girls. He then goes on to talk about how easy it is to install (he mentions the corvette needs to go the dealer to change spark plugs...bullcrap). He also mentions that it seems like it has more 'juice'.
Thats one seat of the pants measurement.
If that thing is so great, then why isnt it OEM anywhere? Especially with requirements to meet CAFE standards.
Light the money on fire. At least you wont get suckered.
