94 LT Alternator connector-urgent!!!
As usual when a car gets old all the plastic parts become brittle, and when removing the alternator the 3 pin assembly that plugs into the side just disintegrated.
Anyone know where these can be had?

Autozone had the one for my car. It already had wires in it so I used my connector tool to remove them and put in the factory wires from my harness. I hate cutting and soldering wires when you don't have to. Good luck with yours.

Hate to dig up an old thread but this is exactly the same situation and thought the answer to this should be linked to this thread.
The issue I have though is this: there are three wires going into said connector that has 4 positions one large red wire and the two thinner gauge wires that are both brown (no stripes that I can see) and I don't want to swap them for fear that I might do some damage if I guess wrong. It appears the two brown wires should occupy the spaces in the connector adjacent to the larger terminal the red wire goes into but I don't know about the brown wires.
I have a new connector but no idea what position two two brown wires should be in (as remember the connector disintegrated to the point that I cant tell where they came from) does anyone know what positions each wire should be in? Perhaps since they are the same color they serve a similar enough purpose and can be transposed safely. From my research those pins might serve the following purposes, one pin might drive the charging lamp in the dash, another might provide a square-wave to the ECU, etc.
any help anyone can provide would be wonderful!

The other end of the wire goes to the Charging bulb indicator and then to
the Cluster Fuse #27 (5 amp fuse).
The other Brown wire goes to Pin F of the alternator plug and the other
end of that wire goes to Valet Fuse #17 (10 amp fuse).
With the ignition On. (Make sure you don't short any of the wires
to ground) you should measure 12 volts at the end of each
Brown wire. You can determine which Brown wire is which by removing
one of the fuses (Cluster fuse or Valet fuse) and one of the wires
will no longer have 12 volts.
Below is a diagram of the alternator plug.
