Default stroker rod question

hy all

maybe a dumb question, but i will ask it:

i purchased some Eagle stroker rods for my 396, i went with CRS6000BST and the are asymmetic on the bigger rod end.

theres one edge machined to get more clearance

can you tell me, if the clearance must point towards the cam, or towards the oil pan rails?

regards

hi Paul!!

thanks for your reply, but thats not the "problem"...

when you lay the rod on a table and look form upside down, on one side, parallel to the rod bolt, one edge is machined for more clearance...

must this clearande point towards the cam or the oil pan rails?

regards

Oh, I understand now.
Sorry,
the clearance is for the cam. Point towards the cam.
I will delete my previous response above so as not to confuse anyone.
