Has anybody ever put side pipes on a C4? I know MADVET sells fake housings, but I'm not sure you could actually plumb it. I think it would look and sound nice if you could do it.
Lawrence Keech, Inc., the same people who make Power Effects, has them for the C4; the side exhaust is known as Side Effects.
I ran them when my engine was stock and I loved them. After the engine build, they proved to be too loud for my tastes, not to mention the fact that they weighed a ton!
The only thing that bottomed out on speed bumps or anywhere else, were the jacking point extensions, and it always sounded worse than it really was.
I included a link to LK, Inc (Power Effects) but either they've gone out of business or the site is dead; I couldn't get anything when I clicked it or otherwise tried to log on.
The wheels are Borbet Type T, but that last time I looked they don't make 'em in 17" sizes anymore. I couldn't get them any wider than 9.5" either.

I have a couple of pics of a white C4 with the side effects exhaust on my site. These were taken at the recent Carlisle show and are a little closer view if you need them. Should be on page 7 or so of the gallery.
There's a link in my sig to my vette page where ya can see some pics of the install.
