I recently replaced my auto climate control programmer in my 96 to fix an AC problem and vent switching problem. It worked great and the AC blows great, but a new problem arose which I think may be related....the heater and auto fan now dont work. I think both of these may be related to the programmer vaccum valves and Im thinking im going to have to take apart my drivers side dash to look at it again.
Last time, when i replaced the programmer, I couldnt get the entire vaccum tube connector over the rubber nipples on the programmer because of the lack of working space underneath the dash. Does anyone have any secrets for getting this connector completely on there once i take everything out again? Should i cut back the nipples a little bit? Any tips to make it easier? Im going to take out the seat this time, cause it sure was a b!tch with the seat in last time. Thanks
