Intermitent slow idle
I posted about a week ago that my 91 had stalled on seveal occasions when I wasn't driving it. Well it finally happened to me so I have a little more information on it. I noticed when I started it that it was a little slower than usual turning over. After it started I looked at the tach. and noticed only around 500 RPM's with the air off in park. Usually I'll see around 700 without the air at startup. When I turned the AC on and put it in drive it drops to around 400 where I usually see about 600. I take off and drive OK for a while, it comes up to temp., but eventually when getting off the gas at a stop light or turn it will stall. Pull over, start it again and I'm back to good numbers, 700 without AC, 500 with in Drive. Any ideas?

Use some TB cleaner on the TB and IAC. Remove the IAC from under the right side of the TB and clean the pintel and its bore under the TB.
The method to reset base idle is on my site, just ignore the part about resetting the TPS as yours is not adjustable.
BTW, I assume you have checked for trouble codes and that there are none.
