Default Installing Exhaust Question

After installing exhaust do you have to stay easy on the car or let it idle awhile for the computer to relearn the new system...or can you take it straight out to the road spinning tires and all?

Well, i know when I put a new exhaust on my 84 (when it was still "stock") I just unplugged the ECU for 30 min to reset.... the hooked it back up and drove the **** out of it. The computer calibrated its self to run this way and I picked up some extra hp. But thats CFI on an 84.... the LT4 ECU is diff i'm sure. I know they will correct to a certain extent but to what that exten is... i have no idea. G/L
