There is absolutely zero difference between 85 and 90 plenum/runners as far as fastening goes. The only difference you'll find is that the intake manifold itself the bolts are at a different angle, the cold start valve does not exist, and there is no rear coolant line. If anything I'd more trust the later #s since '85 was a "first year" engine.
My point exactly, bolts on a different angle, this IS a DIFFERENCE isnt it. ZERO difference would mean identical and i know for a fact as does Smacko that they are far from that.If they were the same cast parts which they are not,then every single attribute would also be identical,including fastening angles,cold start valves and coolant inlets/outlets. Angle changes in bolts will 9 times out of 10 mean they are differently torqued. So if it were me, id trust the 85 numbers, since thats the model he has.
