Default Dashboard lighting

Hi everybody,

Do you know what kind of lighting is the one used for the dashboard? Is it LCD or just a few bulbs behind the panel?

Another question regarding lighting : My "Service Ride Control" stays on because I changed my shocks for Konis. Do you know if it is poosible to remove the bulb related to that warning?

Thanks for your info

Default Bulbs

Don't know what year you have, or how they changed over time. My 84 has several "normal" little bulbs dispersed around the circut board. As far as the light, If it is a seperate until, yes you can remove it. If it is not...

Always include the year vette you are asking about! The dash is lit by 4 #882 lamps. The service ride lamp should be removeable, but I don't know for sure.

Sorry guys,

my Vette is a '92...
My point is to remove the Service Ride Control light and to change the color of the Dashboard lighting...I'd prefer to have something blue...

Thank you
