New braking problem need ideas
Ok sometimes the brakes feel fine and other times the pedal needs to be pushed down further and it doesent have the normal bite that they normally have. And also every few days a get a heavy grinding noise from my left front caliper when depressed.But today I drove all around town and the brakes were fine.Maybe a master cylinder problem?

What year? how many miles? and when was the last brake job done?
I would want to take the brakes apart and inspect them. You may have a weaping hose, a leaky caliper, bad seals, bad pads, take your pick.
The master could be bad, as could the booster.

The rotors and pads are not very old.And there is no leaking brake fluid.But is there sucha thing as intermendent bad pads?Maybe I should try some cheap Autozone pads tomorrow and see what happens?
