Default Which size Cats?

I'm moding an LT4 dual exhaust system for my 91' L98. I found a complete system in nice shape. The pipe size is 2.75 in. Question is do I go with 3" I/O high flow cats or 2.5". They don't seem to come in 2.75" sizes. I'm thinking 3" for better flow with a step up from the J pipe off the manifold and a step down to the system. While I'm at it who sells Dynatech cats? Still high flow but cheaper than the RT's.
Thanks

Since the cats will the main restrictors in the system go with 3" in/out.

Beyond the cats 2 1/2" pipes will support up to 500 hp at the crank, assuming the mufflers flow 550cfm each.

That's what I thought too... It looks like Summit Racing is the place for the Dynotech's.

I noticed some Dynotech copies on E-Bay, honeycomb core and all, anyone try these yet? Cheap at $39 a piece...

I have the 3" Dynatech's Love them. I ordered mine about 6 weeks ago. Jeg's was cheaper than Summit. $149 each Vs $165 each.
