Default Vigilante Torque Converters

Anyone using Vigilante Torque Converters and happy with them? Also, where's the best place to buy?

Looking for something in the 3000 or lower stall. TRied a TCI Breakaway but a little too much slippage on a 96. Want more response inthe low end.

Other recommendations?

Thanks

I've run several of Precision's converters over the years and have been extremely satisfied with every one of them. My company also does Terry's (Hedrick, owner of PI) cryogenic processing so I'll plug him any chance I get... But, in all seriousness, I used PI's converters long before I was involved in a business relationship with them and am currently running one on my wife's car. They build top-notch converters and their results speak for themselves. I would highly recommend one.

I have a Vigilante 2800 in mine and with 3.45 gears it behaves very well.

Panuzzo and Mackey both had Vigilante 2800's intheirs at one time and absolutely loved them.

I got mine from FLP on a group purchase here a couple years ago.

We pretty much have used Precision Industries converters exclusively for the last few years for all our automatic needs not just 4L60E. They arent the cheapest converters out there but they get the job done, have a great reputation for quality, and a 2 year warranty with free restall. Give me a call if you are interested in buying one I might be able to do something for you. For most Vette owners I recommend their 2600 or 2800 stall depending on your vehicles modifications and what you use it for.

I bought my first one this spring. I had them set it up for 26-2800 stall. According to my datamaster program it looks to be stalling around 2750. Pretty damn close if you ask me. Seems like a decent quality unit. Not the cheapest so if you want some off the shelf cheap unit this isn't the way to go.
I would absolutely buy one again.

Thats right my 2800 for street/srrip use was great.
Now I have a 4400 stall with only 367 rwhp and I think you can see the results in my sig photo.
