Default How do I get more boost?

If I sound like and idiot I apologize, I am new to Superchargers. I have a '92 corvette that i bought from a guy a few weeks ago. It has a Paxton sn2000 with a Blowerworks Superfueler fuel programmer. the guy I bought it from said it had valve work and a custom cam along with a full exhaust system. Does anyone have any idea how much HP this setup has. What can I do to get some more boost out of this setup? I know I can get a smaller pulley but will that be enough?

hmmm, as far as hp #'s you should get a dyno to find out. The a/f reading definently won't hurt to know if you're thinking of getting some more boost under there.
Also, more boost wn't neccessarily=more hp. Does the car have headers? All the air coming in won't make a lick of difference if it can't get out (see also exhasut gas stuck in cylinder). How much boost are you running now? If you're pushing 8+ lbs. I believe most here would agree with me that you need forged internals if you want the engine to stay in one peice.
Is this setup intercooled? That will be a big factor in determining your tuning needs if you go with more boost.

I left out some information, the car does have headers. Right now its running abour 5 psi of boost, 8 is what I want to get it to. I was hoping to find out if a smaller pulley would be enough. I am planning on having it put on a dyno in a couple of weeks to check the A/F ratio.

Ditto to above-I'm running one now-take the 5psi and be happy with it....
Greg has the details-the sn is an older design ball drive and can't survive at higher rpms; so if you try to run it with a smaller pulley it won't last long.
Also if it doesn't already have an external cooler get one( Greg has them-but I went to a larger rad for it also); change the fluid often and only use type f trans fluid in it.
Follow the above and it'll have a long life.
