Sorry I wasn't clear on my first post. They both take about the same the overdrive unit and the rear end, If you buy 4 total you will have about a full bottle left over. I got 4 myself to cover spillage, and to top off after driving around.
4+3
----------
4-Speed: 1 quart of gear oil (75W90 or 80W90 is fine)
Overdrive: 1.7 quarts of ATF
Double check on the 4-speed part, I could be off on that. CentralCoaster will probably chime in with the figures. I forget how much the rear actually takes.
Remember the overdrive on the trans takes ATF... about a quart.

Good catch, what was I thinking Capacities are about the same but not the same lube that's for sure. I bought 4 liter of 90 wt gear lube and that took care of the manual 4 speed and the rear end. and 2 qts of ATF for the OD unit. If you going to do this go with synthetic on all I noticed a difference in the shifting afterwards........smoother
