Need Help Picking An Exhaust System
I have a '94 LT-1 and am looking for a performance exhaust for my car.
I am looking for something not too loud at idle but with a nice rumble
and makes some noise when you step on the throttle.Something with a
deep sound. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks , Rick

I just had Flowmasters Force II cat back installed on mine and I really like them. Not too noisy but enough meat. Also, they have a very good fit for our years. I got these thru a local vette dealer and paid dearly but you can find the hardware on a variety of internet sites for a reasonable cost.

I'm runnin' the Magnaflow on mine. About $350 shipped from
www.performancepeddler.com
Great quality w/ a nice deep sound. Best system for the money IMO.
You can click on "My LT4" for a sound clip.

I have the Flowmaster II cat back on my 95. It has no interior rosonance, and a great sounding idle. When you get on it, it is loud enough to sound like a vette should, but is quiet enough to cruise and talk at the same time. Summitt delievered it for about $550. Easy installation and good fit. I wouldn't swap it for anything else.

Confused yet?
My advice, try and look n' listen to a few different systems and see/hear which one best suits your needs.

All I know is if that was my car I would have her by her red hair dragging her off. As for exhaust....Corsa...no other way to go. Interior resonance is the most quiet yet outside sounds mean mean mean

I fought this battle for some time, I ended up with the Corsa. It has zero resonance inside the cockpit, but has a mean sound while accelerating or WOT. Magnaflow and Borla were near the final cut, but several here had had those on their cars and switched them out for Corsa for the resonance issue. If resonance is not an issue, I love the sound of the Magnaflows and the Borlas.
Ultimately, my suggestions is to ride in some cars with the different exhaust systems to see which one you like best.
