[QUOTE=Darkgh0st It's just a car, gotta have fun with it [/QUOTE]
I dont have that emotional attachment to mine as well. I take it to the track and beat on it, let others drive it etc. And IMO the hood orniment matches your car well
But back to the mufflers, Sound is all about what you like. Try and go to a show or gathering and ask to hear different ones running. Most corvette people are happy to show off their cars.

Thanks to all..... The response was great. I have the stock
exhaust on now and it's much too quiet.I guess i have alot to
think about. Thanks so much for your help. Rick
i guess some have the 2 1/2" or 3" pipes also.......
I guess as far aas pipe diameter goes, someone pointed me to this DynoMax web-site for what seems to be a useful chart. http://www.dynomax.com/techsupport.stm
I have a set of new flowmasters I'm selling that were installed in a 1994 for one day, I decided I wanted to stay with my stock mufflers due to the quieter sound. check out my thread on them, let me know if you can't find it.

I have the Power Effects system but these are a bit loud and have a little resonance even with the mufflers set at the quietest setting. The Force IIs are very nice, especially for the money and are the only Flowmasters I've ever heard that I didn't think sounded like crap. The Corsas are very nice too, but more expensive. However, the quality is top-notch. I think that one of these would fit the bill for you.
I'm runnin' the Magnaflow on mine. About $350 shipped from www.performancepeddler.com
Great quality w/ a nice deep sound. Best system for the money IMO.
You can click on "My LT4" for a sound clip.
How did you get them for 350, there site says $432
Maybe we can find you some Hooter's boys. . Anyway, if you don't mind a bit of resonance, I have EM longtubes, RT cats and B&B catback. They really rumble when you eventually do a heads/cam package (which you probably will). Otherwise, Corsa seems to be the favorite around here.
