I thought I'd have a look-see at a plug in my '85. Wow. They look like original ACDelcos! Badly worn.
So, I was thinking of replacing these plugs with Bosch Platinum +4's and replacing the wires and HEI with Accel products.
Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with these? Any suggstions?

For a little more cash outlay you can get the Denso Iridium plugs which work better than the Bosch plugs. The Densos actually work as advertised and there is actual documented gains with these plugs. Not like the marketed hyped up BS like the Split fires and other fancy plugs. As for Accel products they are fine, no sense going to these ultra large wires such as the 8.5mm or even 10mm wires 7mm or even the new Accel 5mm wires will also work fine. Personally I prefer the Taylor wires in their Spiro Pro product line.
Bosch platinums are good for LS1 motors thats what i heard, not many TPI guys are not happy with platinums but i had a bosch 4+ for aluminium heads(mine is dart pro Al angle heads) for a while it worked pretty good.
My '85 didn't like the Bosch Platinums at all (the regular ones, not the +4's). Switched back to the regular AC Delco plugs and the car started quicker and runs fine.
