I found the "Fastguy Method" in the archives. It looks pretty thourough!
I have a friend who owns an Auto repair. He brought up the labor, and it talked about recharging the a/c afterwards. He said that it appears that the a/c lines have to be interupted.
My car is an 89, do some years have to remove lines. It does not mention this in the "Fastguy Method"!
I ordered the Delco core today and plan to tear it down this next week!
Thanks!
If you are replacing any of the components in the A/C system (ie; evaporator, condensor, compressor, receiver/dryer) the lines are going to have to be removed from that component and when the system is put back together it will need to be evacuated (vacuumed down).
