Does this year vette with the 4l60E come with the removable bellhousing style?

No. The removable bell started (I think) with the 97 model year.

no. All GM automatics from as far back as I can remember have had integrated bell housings... the only time it changed was with the C5, cause the transmission is in the back....

I found this in my gm book. Beginning at the start of production for 1996 models, some thm 4l60-e transmissions were built with bolt on bellhousings. The 4.3l v-6 was the only one to receive the bolt on bellhousing for 1996 models, and will be expanded to most other engine sizes for 1997. The bit used to remove the bell is a "torx plus 50-IP. A normal t-50 bit will strip the bolts. Hope this helps.
