Default loosening roller rockers

I have to loose my roller rockers. (comp. cams 1.6 roller pro mag).
I adjusted many times the stock stamped ones ...with only the single nut on the stud...
How to proceed with the full roller rocker where there are a big nut and another little nut on it??
Which one??
Sorry for the stupid question..

The method *I* use, is that once I have the large (adjustment) nut where I want it, I back it off about a 1/16th of a turn. Then I tighten up the hex socket headed, Allen, lock screw until it contacts the top of the stud. THEN, I tighten both the large adjustment screw and the Allen lock screw, simultaneously, that last 1/16th of a turn.

Let me know if I understand...
the large one is for adjusting the rocker...
the little one (hex socket headed) is for secure the large nut to lock it??
Thanks.

YES!

The Allen screw is merely a jam screw to put tension on the threads between the adjusting nut threads and the stud threads.
