Cheap Delteq?
Where is the cheapest place to buy it online? I've done searches and it seems at one time some Z28/Firebird forum had a group buy. I don't want to spend $700 if I don't have to.
Thanks in advance!
I had to buy the new coil pack on the eBay site listed at the Delteq site also. I think I paid $140 for the coil pack.
But, doing it this way, don't expect Delteq to stand behind any problems with the coil pack or a warranty on it -- you own and supplied the coil pack.
I also made my own spark plug wires.
This worked out fine for me.

Or you can get the bare bones kit and get a coil pack fro $100

It all depends on what your "Opti problem" is. If it is on the high voltage side then the Delteq will solve the problem. I have also read that Delteq now has a new product that compleatly does away with the Opti but have not been able to get a hold of them yet to prove this. Now as far as the Delteq -vs- DynaSpark it is a choose you poison there.
Advantages to both
Dynaspark:
is a beter built Opti and will hold up better to moisture helping reduce the chance of carbon arching and protect the Optical sensor a little better but it still uses all the standard Opti parts including the sensor cap and Rotor.
Delteq:
Does away with the cap and rotor portion of the Opti so you will never have to wory about the common high voltage side of the Opti again and if they have the low voltage solution replacment the entire
Optispark would be replaced. (The reason I chose Delteq was because of the fact it allowed me to remove the rotor which can explode in high RPM situations)
Both are exelent alternatives but niether realy solves all the Opti problems and depending on application either may or may not be a better choice. If I where to do it all over again I would probably go LTCC because it has a provision for timing retard for nitrous aplications.
