If it is hitting the little metal piece the sticks out at the front, it can be adjusted with you fingers by pulling up on it. It can be bent down when you put on.
Yes it can be adjusted every which way from inside the door panel, but you must be careful not to make any major changes. Why did it get out of adjustment. did you change the weatherstrip or remove the door or anything like that? If it has changed by itself over time, something has worn, like the door hinge. You may want to take it by a body shop and have a pro do it, or do an advanced search on this forum for ideas. This is a tricky job, but you can do it yourself if you take the time.
I have learned the hard way by breaking things to do your homework first, and go slow.
Mine was doing the same thing, the plastic stop that is connected to the window strikes a metal L-bracket bolted to the door frame...guess which one breaks first. The plastic stop on the glass also has a guide channel that controls the vertical track of the window.
hi
thanks for the replies
what do you mean by the plastic stop?
I have taken apart the door and it sort of looks like the rear roller is where the movement is?
Thanks
