Default Help identifying my chip?

Just purchased an 89 Corvette. I pulled the ECM out to find this.

The white, hand written label says 16 with 360C underneath. The chip doesn't have any of the part numbers I've read about here in the forum, (1986-1989 = 1227165 or 16198259). It has 1606, ALDP9044, 980, 9300, & 1543 on it. The two smaller "limp home" chips have 16072665 (90 42) and 16133420 (90 46) on them. Any idea if this is stock or not?

Thanks,
Jeff

You'd need to read the chip and compare it to a stock bin file to know for sure but I would highly suspect it is NOT stock.
The chip won't say "1227165 or 16198259" on it, those are GM service numbers for the ECM. By the numbers you have on the ECM I beileve it is a remanufactured ECM.
The MEMCAL is a stock GM piece, but by the looks of it the PROM chip on it (the one with the hand written tag) may have been erased and reprogrammed. But like I said, you'd need to read it and compare to be sure.

That's what I was afraid of. Anyone in Milw/Chicago area have a programmer that can read my chip to make a .bin file for comparisons? Better yet, does anyone have a stock 89 chip they want to sell me?

Thanks,
Jeff
