Brake Master Cylinder
I have an 89, and I'm having problems w/ the brake master cylinder. I recently refilled the resevoir to the front of the car, and after five days or so of driving, the fluid migrates to the resevoir toward the rear of the car...in other words, the front resevoir drains to nothing, and the rear resevoir is filled to the top of the cap, way above the max line. Anyone know why it's doing this, and what I need to do to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like wear in the bore of the cylinder, but question(s)How do the brakes feel?
Doesn't the fluid from the rear reservoir overflow?
Are you sure it is migrating into the rear reservoir and not going into the vacuum booster? Or leaking somewhere else?

Sounds like fluid is bypassing the piston seal and working its way into the other chamber. I'd say a new MC is strongly recommended at this point. Best to catch it (hopefully) before it dumps fluid into the booster -- or leads to hydraulic failure.Be well,
