Default Dana 44 Question

I am starting to build an 87 vette, it was an original automatic Trans Car. I bought strictly a shell no motor or Trans. The car was converted to a small block Carb car with I believe a TH 400. It doesn't have any original computer components. I want to build a 600hp small block plus add a 200 hp nitrous hit for a total of 800 HP. I plan on conervting to a dana 44. Can it handle the HP and can I get a spool for the car???

Thanks

Just trying to figure out what I am getting into
