Default Dumb but necessary brake question

I agreed to help a friend put disc brake pads on the rear of his 95. I used to have a C4 but , quite frankly, forgot what the pads look like. Went to my local parts dealer got some pads but they don't look at all like I thought they would. Can anybody post a picture or direct me to a site where there is a picture of 95 rear disc pads that we know will be exact (not just a generic pad pciture like some catalogs have) Thanks.

Thank You. We are in the hunt. The pads I have have a spring device mounted on the top post of the pad. The illustration you led me to appears to be the correct pad but the ones they gave me have this spring device. I am not familiar enough with this Forum software to draw a picture within the software.

Yeah, the pads should have a spring like attachment that pivots on a pin at the top of the pad. It sounds like you have the right ones.

Those sound like the right ones. They have that spring on top that sits up against the caliper.
