I think it would be cool to see more guys with ZR1's with auot swaps....just need a 4000 stall to get the motor going. i wouldn't dare use a stock stall for one of those motors. a LT5 has a higher powerband than typical LS1 motors and those C5/F-body guys use 3500rpm stalls all the time with stock set-ups.
A buddy of mine had a TCI super streetfigher in his LS1 F-body and it was pefect for it. that mod with the M/T et streets dropped .6 tenths alone at the track.

Superguy, just ignore the unhelpful comments from the peanut gallery. There are a couple of people who have done this. You'll probably be more likely to get their attention in the ZR1 section.

And how much better is a F1 auto tranny than a 700R.
Only reason I can see for putting a auto in is if you have lost your left leg. There is a guy who has steering wheel controls since he does not have use of his legs.
