Default LT4 intake ported and powercoated

Here are some pics of my intake, just finished port matching it to my heads and opening it up for a 58mm throttle body. I had my buddy powercoat it yellow for me, it looks pretty wicked. I just took the car out tonight and it sure pulls harder on the big end over 5k.

Nice port job! I've thought about port-matching my heads, but don't trust my hands to be steady enough

Ported LT4's with bigger valves, crane double springs, titanium retainers, crane gold rockers. Flow about 280 on the intake.

Do you know if your buddy had to take the red coating off before doing the yellow? Someday I'm going to steep up to some AFR 210s and I'll need a LT4 intake.

Yea, I bead blasted before I gave it to him, on a new one that is perfect you shouldn't have a problem painting over the red if you are going too use a dark color but yellow wont work too good on top of red.
