Thanks, that's the first thing that I will try.

Two people, 4 hands, really does help. Sam and I put in both together. Going in from the passenger side and sliding it downward at quite a steep angle as I recall.

Also, while we used the "new" bolt on the passenger side, (maybe because we didn't know to jack up the car as Shawn did), what we did is reuse the "stock" on the driver's side. Works just fine! And Dave DID walk us through it a bit (at about 845pm on a weekday, no less! what a guy!)

Finally, one thing we did as we were installing the first one which may be a big no-no, is to carefully, very carefully bend those two a/c aluminum lines outward (maybe a quarter of an inch), away from the compressor (?) so that there was good clearance. And on either side, we used one shim or two and Sam even filed one down for each install so that the CBrace slipped in without a problem.

Nope, it wasn't a cakewalk. But it works. Hope yours does, too.

Actually, if you had an electric water pump or want to go with one in the future, Dave makes a camber-brace that is so much easier to install as it is a 3 piece brace. And it works great.

Dave never told me to jack the car and it is unnecessary. The bolt is not a big issue either take the serp belt off or move it as mentioned above and it will come out just fine.No mods are needed to make it fit either.I had to use the supplied bolt on mine on the pass side with 1 shim.Really when you get it in it will be one of those DUH moments it isn't that hard once you do it once.

Thanks for all of your help, but I woosed out and said screw it. I got the driver's side bolt out, but wasn't able to reinstall it. Call me a quitter, but it just wasn't worth my time. I'll have EM install it the next time I have them work on it. I have very little patience when it comes to working on cars.
