Flowmaster Force II on C4 '86
Hi Guys,
Does anybody here have experience with the relativly new Flowmaster Force II system on a C4? The claim that this system doesn't give as much resonance in the car as the previous systems did.
I'm looking for a system that is louder than stock, but inside the car it shouldn't be irritating...
I still have my Cat installed so it's only about the Y-pipe and 2 mufflers that are going to be replaced.
Thanx

It is defenitely louder than stock but i dont recommend if yoyr car is stock. I have headers, cam/head package and it is way louder but no resonance inside at all a very happy customer of Tpis Flomaster Force II and infact one guy is selling this on parts sale section. A very nice piece but expensive 600 bucks.

I put the Force 2 for the LT1 on my 90 L98, still have stock exhaust manifolds and no cats.
Sounds good, tire noise is louder than exhaust in 6th at 65-70, that used to be my resonance RPM with the stock system.
Required changing the mounting bolts on the rear end and LT1 hangers.
I think the 40 series mufflers on stock pipes gave the Fowmasters a bad rep for resonance.
