Installing keyless entry on 86

I am hoping someone has "been there done that" as this post is pretty much gonna be for the tech heads out there,
The subject is my 86 I want to add a keyless entry system, this item is bought from places like JC Whitney and is made by
http://www.icdynamics.com/
The unit is pretty good with built in relays however to work the rear hatch you have to wire in an extra relay to switch polarity,
My problem is once installed if you unlock your door with the keychain transmitter and open the door with the outside handle the built in GM alarm will sound,
Think about it like this,
If u rolled the window down and locked your doors and reached thru the open window and pushed the power lock button to unlock the door , when you open the door from the outside handle the factory alarm will sound, Go try it...
I am thinking with the use of a relay the factory alarm system can be turned on and off by the keyless entry as it locks and unlocks the doors,
Which wire do I tap into?
Has anyone done this already or do I wing it on my own?
Many thanks fellow tech heads.
Cheers,
P.
Best reference I found was at http://batee.com/corvette/keylessentry/index.shtml. This is for an '86 but not everything went as smooth for me as for the author. He deserves lots of credit for showing the underlying approach. Basically you tie into the wiring harness that goes to the security sytem. Email me and I'll reply with some pics.
