87 electronic air lights blink?

87 electronic air lights blink?
the lights on my friends 87 with electronic air blink when he hits a bump. the climate control works, but the lights blink. Could this be a ground or the control unit?

I had the same problem with my 87, I pulled the connections and cleaned them and it cured it for quite awhile-guess I have to do it again.The unit itself if I remember correctly is a sealed unit-but if memory serves me right, someone here said there is a little round area on the back of the unit that needs to be resoldered for the ground-don't hold me to this cause I just vaguely remember.

If it isn't the contacts, ground runs to the the driver's side kick panel area. It has it's own lug which sits on top of another lug that contains most of the forward interior grounds. Remove driver's hush panel to access. Then look on the left kick panel, near the support, for the ground.
