This high temperature on the sensor contacts will carbonize the residue oil left and degrade the electrical connection. I have some deoxit and I am going to measure the connection resistance of some 20 year old connectors before and after deoxit. I will report my measurements. I have a 4 wire ohmeter and I can measure easily to a milliohm (.001 ohm). Be back in a little bit.
I dont believe we ever said anything about spraying it on the oxygen sensors themselves, we were discussing PLUGS. As in CONECTIONS between 2 different wires or sets of wires!!!! Anyone that is going to pull the sensor out and spray anything on it is certainly not the quickest brown fox in the cage.

Yep thats acetone. And yep the air foil is ****en horse****. I took mine out and didnt lose any power, but now my PCV system works perfectly and the engine doesnt **** oil out the distick tube!!! So removal of your air foil has advantages. Then sell it to someone that doesnt believe what i have just said.
