Cars is an '85 - This screen capture is from Tunercats $1F file. Can anyone explain what this screen is for? Bin is from a Carroll Supercharging chip. Does it refer to "Air/Fuel Ratio" as in 'reading the O2'??? TIA

wow thats goofy.

Thats your PE table. Its basically an enricher for wide open throttle. The formula to see "target" afr is

14.7/(1+ %cool + %RPM)= AFR

However its never that clean cut. After you tune a car you'll notice the graph or curve will not make much logical since at all.

Higher numbers = more fuel.

This is from a Carroll Supecharger bin file for 12psi of boost. The stock GM graph stays at 0% throughout.

Hypertech, dips down to -3.1 from 0 at 5200 rpm. Why would that be?

Ok, last question: (don't everybody jump in at once and answer this one!)
Question: "Change to Air/Fuel" means 'change to O2' reading or 'change to AFR map' ??? TIA

I take the %change to fuel/air ratio vs. (xx) tables to mean that the ecm will change the Desired/Target fuel air ratio by that % under those conditions. This looks to me like the Only way you can actually change what the Target F/A ratio is in this ECM. You can play with Pulse width, and timing, and etc - but the BLM is still going to work to bring the measured F/A ratio back to the Target.

BTW - the stock GM chip does the same as the Hypertech - carries 0% till 5200 rpm (It's an L-98 for god sake - it's fell on it's face by that high!) then drops the target 3.1% from there up. That's in the "vs. RPM" table.

Am I right, or out in left field someplace...

Thats interesting. My hypertech chip is different than yours. Mine actually dips down to "-3.1". Like a rev-limiter...Weird. The GM bin I just got from the dealer stays at 0 to 6400 rpm. ...1985 vette owners are really a minority here in scan-tune.
