Default 12mm Soft Socket

Anyone know where I can buy a "12 mm soft socket" which will protect my lugs finish when I go to mount my new Torq Thruster II's?

Why not just use the plastic lug caps?

Brian
Put plastic over top the new polished/chrome lugs?
No, I don't think so.

ESchoendorff,
Thank you!! I'll give them a try, but my problem is the lugs I got for the new Torq Thruster II wheels come in a 12mm size.
Harbor Freight has everything but 12mm or so it seems.

Hmm... that's a good one. I even checked snap on for you, but I am not coming up with anything.

It sounds like you're after something rather specialized. If it were me, I would call the company that supplies your wheels and see what they can offer. just a thought...

Default Wheel nut sockets

Your WHEEL STUD threads are 12mm not the hex of the NUT! You would need to check the nuts supplied with the wheels.

Use a 17mm socket or a 19mm for starters. I think you'll find one of these will do it!

Why not take a piece of paper and form it over the lug nut, then place the socket over it. I have done this before and it works.

Good luck,
Dino

Makes sense, I'll give it a try.
