Been offered a cheap set of solid roller lifters but they the "retro fit " type not OEM replacement types.
Will they fit / work in a OE roller block with the correct pushrods?
They should work just fine. I am assuming when you mentione retrofit that they lifter has a bar between the two lifters to locate them properly as pairs.
They have the connecting bars to maintain alignment.
However further research shows two different lifter bore sizes for SBC.
0.842 and 0.874
The Isky site does not specify OE roller lifters as such;
only the same spec lifter in two bore configurations.
Anyone know the factory roller bore size?
