Default 350 Ram Jet

Just wondering if anyone has ever messed with a 350 Ram Jet crate motor. I am thinking about buying one to put in my 94 full size Blazer.

If so what kind of low end power do they have?
It really sounds like a great motor to me.

I haven't... but the specs look pretty good. My only thing, the motor is more of a revver than a torquer. For a full size blazer, I would think a big block would be a better choice.

I helped tune one of them that was installed in a older Jeep J10 pickup. The RamJet 350 ran very well and had plenty of torque and power for that old pick up truck. Another customer had one in an old Chevy K10 4x4. It is an old 1970 3/4ton truck, he wants more power so he is replacing that 350 with a 454 with EFI.

All in all the RamJet 350 is a good package with a relatively simple 4 wire hook up for the engine harness. All you need to do is to supply either an in tank or an external EFI fuel pump and a return line.
