Default Idle Problem with the Grape
Every since I bought my Vette, I have to press the gas just to get it to crank. It also idles rough at times like its going dead but never does followed by rich smelling exhaust fumes and black smoke. The engine is fresh, only 6K since build.

Any idea what could be causing this?

skewed CTS or a leaking injector

My vote is for leaking injectors also. Depressing the gas pedal puts the ECM in flood mode and cuts back the fuel for a period of time.

more than likely-injector(s) leaking.

You think even with new injectors they could still be leaking? They only have about 6k miles on them.

put a scanner on her on look at your cts reading, then take the temp of your actual coolant temp

put a fuel pressure gauge on her, start her, turn her off, and observe if the pressure drops
