I know where the noise is coming from. At the upper rear of the door windows. The weatherstripping is new and seals. The noise and air is coming in between the top itself and the weatherstripping. If you reach around from the back you can feel the air coming in right in the corner. When I installed the weatherstripping I made sure the metal that holds the weatherstripping was clean and sealed against the top.
Any ideas on how the get the top tight and seal against the railing and weatherstripping or is this just a fact of a conv.
Mine comes from here. It's like this factory I beleive cause the top has to be able to fold right there for storage. Mine keeps the rain out, but not the wind noise on the highway. Was going to try some velcro strips.
Just went and looked. My top has velcro on it in these areas. I put the corresponding hooks stick on (had some laying around) on the metal weatherstrip areas and stuck the top down. Will see what happens tomorrow.
