Help! Alternator question
Ok, here is my problem. I have an early 93 vette and I don't know which alternator I need. The two options are a 140 amp or a 120 amp. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look at your RPO codes. Chances are the old alternator is stamped with the amperage. Otherwise, I always go for the biggest I can afford, as long as it is at least as big as the original.

Thanks EFI! You are a lifesaver! As far as the install that won't be any trouble, other than the damn belt, but I know someone with a belt tool so I can avoid that problem.
