Did a search to find out where these are mounted...
replacing the MAF power relay and burnoff relay. This may solve your problem. They are only about $10 each. They are located together on the firewall right behind the battery. Had your same problem and this fixed mine. Cheers[
Same on an 89? Want to fix this thing today, tired of seeing it parked.
Any pics would help, there are various relays mounted, want to get the right ones. Hopefully they have a pigtail.
Well, got a rebuilt Bosch for $179 out the door (PN#74-4712), bring your old one in or pay the $80 core charge.
They list the relays as pn 412210, didn't like the brackets on them, I'll order them somewhere else. Looks like it will be down til sometime next week.

Old MAF was descreened, wondering if the person who did it hit the filament with some metal chips while grinding the retaining ring down. Installing this one as is.
Duh, the brackets come off
Went back and bought the relay from Autozone,($10)and the other from PepBoys($18 )
Starts about the same, but throttle response is right there!
Take it for a drive later tonight and see if it still goes lean and acts up, hpefully i didn't waste $200 today. Still need a pigtail as the clip is broke, but fits in there pretty snug.
Fwiw, to get to the two 7mm nuts (behind the battery)holding the two relays on if you have a 1/4"flexible shaft, or a wobbly theres no need to remove the battery.

Well, seems to run pretty strong, no bogs like it used to. I'll take it back to the dyno this week to check the A/F raios again and see where its at. If all looks good, I'll head out to LACR Weds, got called out by a friend that just picked up an SRT hemi wagon
