When the SR is installed are you able to remove the valve covers?

yes you can remove VC. What some have found is that they have to grind away some of the lip, because they hit between the after market roller rockers and the SR intake runners. My stock valve covers and stock rockers do not cause an interference. However, I am anticipating the problem with my aftermarket polished valve covers and COMP CAMS roller rockers. I will trial fit before my install and have the whizzer ready to be creative, if neccessary.

No problems at all.. Had center bolts and now have tall covers with no problems.
