Default Individual throttle bodies

I saw this setup on a honda s2000 and it sounded really mean. after doing some research, i found that some ferrari engines used this setup as well. I was wondering if any c4's in here run them or have heard about using them with a sbc v8.

Have set up multiple honda's with the individual TBs. They typically use the GSXR750 TBs that can be had off of ebay for less than $200. I think this would be a bit tougher with the SNC due to tuning issues. Nonetheless, if you have aftermarket ECM, and can make one TPS represent the full compliment, then it would work. Or you can use the Haltech with 2 TPS.

Interesting project.

Do you mean stacked EFI like this:

This setup is from Hilborn, they supplied the stacks already converted to EFI. Each pair of TBs hold two 2 11/16" OD throttle plates, multiply that by 4 and you have a lot of TB square footage. The engine has Brodix 18 deg heads and a HUGE cam, with 260ish duration numbers and .700+ lift. One nice thing about this setup is that with individual stacks, there is no cam reversion because there isn't a common plenum area. So that in itself tames the cam, this car has amazing driving qualities with such a large cam.

Just bear in mind that tuning something like this is a RPITA. I tuned this set up that is a Dart Iron Eagle 427 SBC using a GM MEFI4 controller. The tunining bill exceeded $1800 worth of dyno time. And that was after someone else attempted to tune it and didn't suceed.

TJ, that setup is awsesome! If it werent so cost prohibitive I'd love to have one on the Elky.
Guess the double pumper will do...
