Roll cage
heavy it would probably cost me more to ship it to Croatia than
roll cage itself. Have anybody done roll cage himself?
I have a great welder that could do it to me but it takes eternity
for him to make something. So instead of giving my car to him and wait for few months ( or years), I'd like to find exact dimensions for roll cage so he could make it and I would install it.
Does anybody know if I could find dimension somewhere?
Download the 2006 GCR file and in it are pictures of the minimum for what is needed to be considered a "roll cage". Goto the rall cage section...

Do you just want a roll BAR or a CAGE?
A roll bar (behind seats only) is like the R-D one above and a cage is bars all over the inside of the cabin(in front of you, above you, on both sides you, and behind you). Jeb is doing a full cage right now also. He has some pictures.
I am doing chrome moly. 1 5/8 outside diameter, .20 thick. Good for SCCA and NHRA. TIG welded.
The chrome moly is about $3.00 a foot and mild steel is alot cheaper, but heavier. CM needs to be TIG welded but MS can be MIG welded.
