What's the best Diagnostic software?
I've looked around but just wanted to ask the experts on which is good for your money. I have a 1992 and it has the 12 end connector which I believe is a OBD I.

honestly, I'm not a big fan of the "scanners" that are sold for several hundred dollars each.
I prefer to use Datamaster (which is data logging software) on my laptop, then hooked up to the ECM through the ALDL terminal - the same terminal all those scanners will use.
It gives you all the same information (DTC codes, etc) but allows you to graphically see what all the sensors are doing in real-time as you drive. Very versatile - if you have a laptop I would encourage you to investigate it as opposed to the Auto Xray type scanners. And if you ever get into tuning your own ECM, then you're halfway there already.
