Default Service LTPWS

My "Service LTPWS" light is on now, it was right after i cut the wires for the remote start and took out the control board for it. I am wondering what that light means, which will probably explain why it came on when it did, thanks

That or simply pull the bulb from the DIC. As you probably know, the LTPWS is the Low Tire Pressure Warning System. The light being on could be a number of things including a bad sensor in one of the tires. If you do a search for LTPWS you'll find an artice showing how to read out the codes.

As far as I'm concerned, this option is more trouble than it's worth. Always need to worry about the tire sensors being broken when installing new tires. The sensors are not made anymore and are hard to get. If I were you I would just pulled the bulb in the dash. Takes about 15 minutes to do. Don't know about anyone else but I always check my tire pressure. Also can tell when I'm below 28 psi in my tires by the way the car drives. If you get a blowout or tire psi goes down very fast the LTPWS is not going to do you any good at all. The warning will not harm anything on the car. It's just telling you a sensor, the module or receiver is possibly bad.
