I may be just stupid, but as this is my first vette (84) what is my engine designation (Ex:, LT1, L98, etc.) Is there any where to go to get what engines came in what years

L83

L-83 came in the 82-84 and the l-98 started in 85, someone else will have to help with the LTx models

The base engine for 92-95 is the LT1. The Base engines for 1996 are LT1 with the A4 and LT4 with the M6.
From 1990-1995 ZR1s were in full production and they have an LT5.
