HElp! Im trying to replace the Digital Dash LCD..im stucK!!
Okay..i got the electronics cluster..digital dash out of my 86. i opened up the back..disconnected speedo..and removed all nuts. It seems there is something connecting the top board to the bottom board...I dont want to pull..cause in not sure if its sodered in or not..its some sort of plug with a row of metal pins..connected into the bottom board. How do i get this apart? So i can take the top board off..then take the bottom board off..so i can get to the lcd glass..and put new ones in? Im almost wisshing i hjust bought a refurbished one..and switched it out..but i want my speedo..cause i only got 80,000 original on the car.

got It! All put back together...now hopefully i will get to see it..there must be a ground problem or somethiing,, i hit a bump the other day..and my display went out..just my high beam and directional lights show...god..sometimes i want to scream these things are peices of sh*t!!!
